We decided to move to Temecula from Orange co, in October we viewed this property, the present tenants had a lease until end of Jan, but in the craigslist ad, she said they were prepared to move end of December 2011 we viewed the property and liked it, she also said she wanted to sell it and if we liked it she wanted 20k for the money she spent on the property, which meant 310k in total, however, we decided after moving in we would just lease it as that was an option too, we found a lot of problems, doors and walls knocked in, the pool needed 10k to put right within the next 6 months, so we

My bf and I live in a large complex. There is a Sac Co. Housing Ord., that requires owners to register, take inspection course before marketing the unit; and unit was eventually cited for no heat, no cold water, inoperative lighting, electricity, roaches, mold, water intrusion in bath... the county housing authority just cited the owner and did nothing more.. we complained right when we moved in, after prepaying two months rent and deposit; LL would not refund, would not credit acct., did not offer another unit... was sued for ud and fighting abuse by attorney and judges...

My landlord is the biggest wimp. He wont confront the neighbor's landlord to tell him that his tenants are very disruptive of the peace. Instead, he asked if we just wanted out of our lease. I feel like he should talk to the owner of the building next door to tell him to quiet his tenants. Nothing gets done, the neighbors are frightfully loud. I do believe there is no firewall between the structures. I want to call the fire dept to get it checked just so someone is doing something about the thin walls.

Well we had called the property managment to tell them that our bath tub was cloged and they said that if it was our fault that we would get charged for it, but i did not think that was right and then we got a letter in the mail stating that they are charging me 105.00 for snaking out the drain, also we have been telling them that this place has a cochroch and mice problem and they told us that if they send someone out that they will charge us and we did not let them do that and we are trying to do it our selves so we are afried to tell them about anything that is wrong with the place and t

My son is a student at ucla and moved into an apartment with 4other boys. One of the previos tenenates/roommates had a problem with bed bugs and let the land lord know asking for an exterminator. Instead the landlord sprayed himself. We were under the understanding a professional exterminator, had taken care of the problem., otherwise we never would have moved him in. As soon as we moved my sons furniture and in his room we found a bed bug crawling across his mattress. We caught it to show the landlord.

I have previously posted information about unethical and illegal actions from 2 different persons who have acted as my landlords at different times. The 2nd landlord bought the property at 8915 Caminito Vera in San Diego Ca at a foreclosure auction and then sued my roommate and me in an attempt to evict us. He lost his case, even though we mainly used information we obtained from Tenants Together and we represented ourselves in CA Superior Court in downtown San Diego.

I am a victim of a fire while staying in on of JD Home rental apts back on 08/30/1998. There was no smoke alarms in the apt units and my 5 kids and I almost lost or lives be hind it. I lost everything, things that can NEVER be replaced. Like my kids baby pictures. I want compensation for my loss. I still have pictures and the original fire report from that morning. I thank god everyday for the man that threw the chair through my patio window and woke me up. my kids room was full of smoke..

I have rented from the same company since 2001. I first lived on Utah St. & then they sold the building to someone that wanted to make condos out of the units. So, the housing commission gave me money to relocate. I ended up renting from the same company because I couldn't find anyone willing to allow my indoor cats. I moved into a lower unit when I had specifically asked for a upstairs unit. They know that I am on disability for anxiety. I also have a sleep disorder. Every place I have lived under this management, there has been noise disturbances from nearby tenants.

We/I and my co-tenants are in Sac County. There is no law/motion tentative ruling calendar for limited jurisdiction, really... there are no tenant rights advocates here. A motion to quash was filed and Judge ruled outside law, (after we disqualified for no cause the Judge who coerces tenants into mediation at bench trials).. we are filing a Petition with Appellate Dept and expect to go higher.. the bias is so deep and pervasive in this county .. it is really scary.
