Affordable Housing Advocates

AHA's Tenants' Rights Project provides legal services and support to local nonprofits and groups of low income residents in impact housing and tenants' rights matters. For example,

In 2005-06, with grants from the State Bar’s Legal Services Trust Fund Program, AHA implemented the Tenants’ Rights Condominium Conversion Project, drafting and advocating for adoption of state and local legislation to enhance tenants' rights.

In 2006-07, with a grant from Price Charities, AHA designed and implemented a targeted Tenants’ Rights Project, in the City Heights neighborhood of the City of San Diego.
