Get Involved as an Organization<\/h2><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Tenants Together offer two ways for organizations to get involved:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

MEMBERS are tenant groups and tenant organizations working at the local or regional level to defend tenants from predatory banks, unscrupulous landlords and displacement.<\/h3>\n\n\n
\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/path><\/svg>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/path><\/svg>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\tMembers make a set of shared commitments with the staff of Tenants Together so that we can build power together. <\/span><\/div>

Members<\/strong> commit to work together for a shared agenda. \u00a0

Tenants Together<\/strong> staff commit to build capacity of member organizations, build solidarity among member organizations, develop shared strategies with member organizations, and represent the shared interests of member organizations.

Members<\/strong> contribute to the collective efforts with the resources they have available. For members who have funds available this takes the form of solidarity dues. For those who have knowledge, skills, and experience, this takes the form of sharing that expertise with other member organizations to build their capacity. <\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

PARTNERS are groups that work with Tenants Together on shared projects and goals without being members. <\/h3><\/div>\n\n\n
\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/path><\/svg>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/path><\/svg>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\tPartners groups commit resources to fight for tenants rights.<\/span><\/div>

Partners include labor and trade unions, multi-issue organizations, statewide organizations, coalitions, or other organizations committing resources to fight for tenants rights.

Partners work with Tenants Together to organize events, or to run campaigns, and are often consulted on strategy.).

Partners have a wide set of political strategies and tactics. However, partners do not organize, educate, or represent residential landlords.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
