The Legal Aid Foundation of Santa Barbara provides free legal assistance to low-income people and senior citizens at our Legal Aid offices in the following areas of law

• Domestic Violence (no income guideline)
• Elder Abuse (no income guideline)
• Landlord/Tenant
• Unlawful Detainer (Eviction)
• Guardianship & Conservatorship (of the person only) (Only in Lompoc/ Santa Maria locations)
• Immigration Assistance for Victims of Crimes (U-Visa, T-VISA, VAWA self-petition, SIJs)
• Immigration Screenings for immigration remedies – options to obtain legal status
• Mortgage Foreclosure Prevention for Homeowners
• Consumer Protection
• Counseling for first-time home buyers
