Rent Stabilization

Exemptions

SFH and condos per Costa Hawkins Act. Anything built after 4/1/1979. Units where rent was $450 or more as of 9/1/79, gov’t subsidized housing, owner occupied buildings with 4 units or less, nonprofit owned buildings, and short term rentals, per local law.
