You might not know that CBS Reports has been running a series called, "Children of the Recession." If you have a story about your children and the affect the recession has had on them that you would like to share, simply email them at recession@cbs.com. Children can also submit videos directly. Past shows have covered subjects such as the recession as seen through the eyes of five young filmmakers, the rising number of school-aged children living in temporary housing, shelters, or are outright homeless, and more. [Note: there is a hotline for California tenants in foreclosure situations, sponsored by Tenants Together, California's Statewide Organization for Renters' Rights: 415.495.8012 - not related to CBS]. Child abuse is also a topic as the recession takes its toll on parents and caregivers.

More info on the CBS Report can be found here as well as links to resources, help for weathering the economic downturn, and many interactive tips.

ABC-TV's upcoming fun and witty look at personal finance, "UN_BROKE..." is sure to amuse, while the CBS Reports "Children of the Recession" will truly inform.
