I live at a camping resort full time in my mobile home, been here 3 years. I have one of only 3 full time motorhome spaces available. I am month to month. My best friend used to live here but gave 30 day notice 5 months ago when he couldnt make his rent, he also got in a heated argument with his grandparents who also live here. He is trying to survive basically and i have let him come stay with me a few days 3 times.

I rented a house with a 1 year lease (beginning 6/2014 ending 6/2015. Later found out the house was in default & in foreclosure. Real estate agents kept coming by my house offering cash for keys (which turned out were bogus). Another real 2 estate agents with their client demanded to enter the home. I called the police thinking they would back me. Wrong - the police threatened to hand-cuff me & "find" something to charge me if I did not allow those people into my home.

We have rented for 4 yrs the residential home attached to commercial liquor store. Landlord is owner of store/property. He tried to get city of poway to zone house as residential but city said no. So we live on a house on a commercial lot. Sdge raised rates. Old bill for our usage was around $50-100, now it is almost $500 a month. He said to pay by friday or he would evict us. Since he is renting to us on commercial lot, is that legal? Can I live rent free to save money to move? I paid the sdge bill but can I get it back somehow?

anyone having issues with companies Rancho Horizon LLC and Griffin Residental you should email help@ranchohorizonllc.com these are people who had bad dealing with them and want to get people together as they are fighting them. Not a company but a family standing up for the rights of tenants !

I lost my home of 15 yrs in Ceres in 2008. Moved into a rental in Modesto,Ca. till March 2011 when the landlord foreclosed on the home while taking rent from us. We had to move. My wife and I with our two sons, entered a rental agreement of a 3 bedroom,2 bath home in April 2011 in Ceres,Ca. from a senior couple. Those familiar with the public school system,in order for my kids to remain with their classmates, we have to live in a certain district. So this home was in the district we needed. A very nice home in a court.1100 deposit, 1100 per month.

Fraudulent unlawful detainer. Landlord submit eviction for non payment of rent. Landlord accepted rent after paperwork was accepted. Landlord arrangement and continued to received rents.

I was evicted by Summary Judgement for "illegal use" by a new landlord who set out on a campaign to evict me the day they bought the building.

In April of 2013 I signed a 12 month lease for an apartment. My security deposit was $1520, which included a $500 pet security deposit. Rent was $1020, which included a $25 pet rent. In the middle of May 2013, my boyfriends car was broken into while parked in the parking lot for tenants, there was over $2000 in damage, thankfully we only had to pay our $500 deductible to fix it. We informed the management and filed a police report. Managements response was that we should park in the covered parking spot(we were only assigned 1, though we have 2 cars).

my wife nad I moved into our rental home in February, 2014. After a few weeks, our youngest daughter came over, with our pets, who were living with our daughter because this rental did not allow pets, when the gardener notice them and subsequently, informed the property manaegement company. We had informed the property manager of the property that the pets were over the home on this one particular day, however, the pets were not living with us in the residence.
