Shown house by agent of hOmes of Bakersfield in the evening very dark out, House was nice on inside and pool was lit by pool light all other lights out, agent told us the house we had app. On down the street would not be ready when snyivipated but this house was available and ready to move in immediately and I have multiple medical conditions that the pool and spa could help according to my Dr. Do eevswitched our app to this house, Boy do i regret that decision. We moved into the home from hell. The day we moved in was first time we got a good look at the exterior of home.

We moved into our unit in march 2012 the owner recently sold the apartments in April 2015 so I guess we aren't on a lease the landlord is charging everyone different rent my rent went up 100$ so in April the new landlord took our rent and a couple days later said oh I need to do repairs for which we have to stay elsewhere becaise of mold problems and he was going to put carpet in the spare bedroom he didn't want to give me storage fees or rehoming fees he just wasn't going to charge us rent..in may he told us either move out or let us do the repairs said we have no renters rights because we

I moved into Heron Pointe with the expectation of living in a luxury apartment. But until this day it has not happened. The floor on my kitchen has not been fixed in living here almost two years. My bathroom sinks were both rusted, they have installed one new sink and I am still waiting on the second sink, besides there are cigarette stains all over the counter.

On May 14, 2015 I contacted the Better Business Bureau for help with a concern about late fees that the property management company I pay rent to charged me. After the BBB contacted the Management, the company retaliated against me and served my 84 year mother, my daughter and me with a 60 day notice on May 19, 2015 to move out by July 18, 2015. They stated to the BBB that I have registered excessive maintenance requests I believed that I was within my legal rights to inquire with the BBB and my obligation to let the company know of impinge nance issues but it seems that I am not.

I had rented a room from a man that was part of my Division. I stayed for several years and paid rent during that time in a timely manner. I was told on Wednesday, 27th I had 14 days to leave. That Friday I was told to leave that night. I came home Saturday to find my food out on the counter top that had been in the freezer and fridge going bad. I will be leaving, but feel this man needs to be reported. he tends to be gone most all the day. He reason for telling me to move on such short notice was his Girl Friend and Family were going to move in.

My self and my children lived here at 3819 East ave for 13 years, We have had the same exact thing happen to us in years past with the landlord trying to give us a 90 days notice to terminate our lease. Reason because we complained over and over regarding the neighbors and the loud music that invades my apartment and children screaming by my door. We wrote a letter of complaint several times regarding this to no avail.

Hi my name is Abigail. I've been a Property manager for 6 years. I was first a Tenant and after 9 months and 6 managers I applied for the job. Last year it was clear that the management company was overcharging. They refused to refund all monies owed and forced me into continuing as though nothing was wrong not just my property but quite a few in LA.
